Residents Returning (Plan F)

The CHI Residents Returning Plan is designed for travellers that have already departed from Australia without arranging travel insurance, or that had a travel insurance policy that has expired. Unlike most other international travel insurance policies, the Residents Returning Travel Plan can be purchased after departing from Australia, with cover commencing when the policy is booked (subject to the below waiting period on some benefits) and ending when you return to Australia.

  Residents Returning policies underwritten by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited with emergency assistance provided by Allianz Global Assistance.
• Extensive policy inclusions
  Unlimited cover for Overseas Emergency Medical Assistance, Medical and Hospital Expenses, and Cancellation Fees. Cover up to set limits for Luggage and Personal Effects, Personal Liability, and more.
• Waiting period
  A waiting period of 7 days from the date the policy is issued applies to all claims related to or associated with an injury or sickness. No cover under the policy for existing medical conditions.
