Seniors Travel Insurance

CHI Travel Insurance provides a range of travel insurance plans for seniors or mature age travellers - including comprehensive international, domestic and frequent traveller policies. Seniors over 70 years of age and over 80 years of age travelling overseas or within Australia are able to access cover underwritten by Allianz with a 25% discount.

No mandatory medical assessments for travellers aged under 81

With CHI Travel Insurance, there are no mandatory medical assessments for travellers aged under 81 - travellers who do not require cover for existing medical conditions are able to simply apply for a quote and purchase a policy online. Travellers aged over 81 must complete and submit a Medical Declaration Form for assessment by the CHI Medical Services team before a policy can be offered.

Please note that existing medical conditions are not automatically covered by CHI Travel Insurance policies, so it is necessary to complete a Medical Declaration Form if you require cover for any existing medical conditions. Competitive additional age loading amounts for senior travellers

Unlike many other seniors travel insurance policies, no additional premium loading amounts are applied for travellers aged under 61. For mature age travellers aged over 61, competitive age premium loading amounts are clearly displayed in the product disclosure statement. The 25% discount offer also applies to age premium loadings if booked through North Travel Insurance.
